This 8-townhouse development wasn’t just another build—it was a full-scale transformation. Sitting on a steep, multi-level site, it required serious earthworks before construction could even begin. With over 1,500 cubic meters of dirt to move, Coastal Projects handled the entire dig-out, cartage, and disposal using our own fleet of truck and trailers—no outsourcing, no delays.
The challenge? Four levels of retaining walls on a tough hillside in Newlands. We didn’t just build on this site—we reshaped it. From stabilizing the land to laying the groundwork for 23 new residents to call home, every stage was handled in-house.
